I took this photo a year ago at Coney Island. I continue to come back to it, for it speaks to me and my aspirations in many ways. The pure blue of the sky represents contentment and possibility. And the juxtaposition of the roller coaster, with its dynamic shape and pop of color, symbolizes chaos, change, creativity.
