What I’m reading to ring in 2014: No new book this week. Instead I continue to (somewhat) digest the 800+ page DeLillo mammoth from last week. It doesn’t particularly resonate, but too far in to give up now. Also a scattering of articles on three of my favorite subjects: dance, typewriters, and Nebraska.

And a trend I hope to start in the new year — reading one piece on writing/art/photography per week:
