    Beautiful snapshot – amazing colors!
Have a very HAPPY weekend 🙂

  • Endless gloom sounds awful. I remember the first winter of our three and half years in Spain, we didn’t see the sun for two months straight (was strange for Madrid I was told) and it almost drove us sun loving, desert dwellers insane. It’s nice you finally got some sun and a great photo.

We had a beautiful day here today and more tomorrow. It’s been a gorgeous fall. I can’t imagine two months of no sun, and I live in a climate where it can get pretty gloomy in the winter.

Madrid is one of those places I want to go to. Will be sure to make it a summer trip.

      • The other winters in Madrid were mostly sunny, the first year was a freak year. You will love Madrid! September and October are really nice times of the year to go to Madrid.

We were in Provence and then Paris, France for 5 weeks in May and June, and it rained a lot. The people in Provence kept apologizing for the rain, telling us it was not normal to get so much rain that time of year. I think it generally rains a lot in Paris.
